Bized was created to provide an opportunity to generate real connections between members of the education community and local business that result in long term and beneficial relationships.
To address the skills gaps we face locally, we need to interact more and support each other – This won’t happen without our businesses and education providers working together.
On top of excellent networking opportunities in a relaxed and informal environment, Bized offers something for all.
We will explore topics relevant for both businesses and education, including: innovation, readiness for work (and the challenges this brings!), apprenticeships, professional development and public sector procurement.
In addition, there will be a tour of the new home of the University Centre at Wakefield College. The Centre opens in May 2017 and aims to focus on innovation and enterprise in order to promote economic growth within the community.
